Memo issue, self creative story of a liar: Kaira

Pakistan News/Lalamusa: Former federal information minister and Pakistan People’s Party Information secretary Qamar Zaman Kaira Sunday said the memo issue was a self creative story of a liar.
Talking to several delegations at Dera Kaira here, he said the United States abruptly denied the statement of Mansoor Ijaz telecasted at a private news channel that President Asif Ali Zardari and Hussain Haqqani, former ambassador to Pakistan in the US, were aware of the Abbotabad operation, adding the disavow of the statement by the US clarified that Mansoor Ijaz was a liar.
He alleged the PPP opponents were adopting non-democratic tactics for hiding their frustration on the floor of the parliament, adding that defeat in the senate elections to be held on March 2012 was now clear.
He lauded the decision of the president about addressing the joint session of the parliament and said the president had rightly and timely decided to take the parliament into confidence for ensuring the supremacy of the same and to strengthen democratic culture.
He said the PPP believed in the supremacy of the parliament and now everything would be discussed on the floor of house.
He said Mian Nawaz Sharif, PML-N president, should have strengthened the country and delivered a message of unity to the world but, he alleged, the PML-N president was conspiring against the government.
He said the people were observing the attitude of both parties and no one could make them fool now.
