PTI Women Wing President Fauzia Kasuri visits Comsats University of Information and Technology - Islamabad

Mr. and Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri was the chief guest at a function held at Comsats University of Information and Technology in Islamabad. The event was held to discuss the problems faced by disabled people in Paksitan. 

 

Ms. Shoaib, a disabled person of great fame spoke about the issues that handicapped people face on a daily basis. There was a question and answer session that followed her lecture. 

 

Mrs. Kasuri spoke about the urgent need for society to be more acceptable of the handicapped. She stressed that it was important for governments to have policies in place that were specific to the needs of people with disabilities. She said Allah has endowed each and every person with some gift or the other and those who are disabled must not be rejected. Instead they must be provided specialized education and training , so as to ensure their growth and development as regular citizens. She spoke of the urgent need for reponsible and honest leadership in Pakistan that look after the rights of all citizens. In this connection, she said, the youth have to play thier role in bringing about a change in our country. They need to be registered as voters and cast thier votes in favor of educated, clean and honest people.

 

The students present showed a great deal of enthusiasm for the message of Imran Khan and appeared very willing to support PTI.

 

Later, Dr. Shah presented a shied on behalf of Comsats to Mrs. Kasuri. Others accompanying the WWing President were Neelum Toru, VP Centre, Shaheen Saifullah, Noreen Ibrahim, Nazia Raja, and Tayyaba.
